6 Places to Visit in Pigeon Forge if You're a Dolly Parton Fan
Do you love Dolly Parton? Whether you’ve been a fan of hers for years or have just started to learn more about her contributions to the Smokies, there are many places to visit in Pigeon Forge that celebrate her life and legacy. Here are some of the top spots that celebrate Sevier County’s beloved celebrity:
1. Dolly Parton’s Stampede

If you love Dolly Parton, then you’re going to love her Pigeon Forge dinner show! From the live music and pre-show entertainment to the Southern 4-course feast and magnificent horses, Dolly Parton’s Stampede is family-friendly and provides one of the best value in town for dinner and a show. Every part of our show is fun to watch, but the Butterfly Dreams segment is extra special: aerial performances and horses with butterfly wings that Dolly herself would call beautiful!
2. Dolly’s Childhood Home
The entire Dollywood Theme Park is a lifelong project of Dolly’s, from the family and friends who perform at the DreamSong Theater to her endless innovations of rides, rollercoasters, and unique experiences. However, one of the more special places to visit in Pigeon Forge is Dolly’s Tennessee Mountain Home, a detailed replica of her childhood home. You’ll love seeing for yourself the 2-room cabin and learning about her humble upbringing that is responsible for who she is today.
3. The Dolly Parton Experience

Three times the size of the original Chasing Rainbows Museum about Dolly’s life, the Dolly Parton Experience at Dollywood tells her story like never before. The first section of the experience guides you through her songwriting and music career, then you’ll get to explore a curated collection of Dolly’s signature style, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process of designing her wardrobe. Lastly, you’ll be able to tour Dolly’s home on wheels and shop at a Dolly-themed boutique!
Other Places to Visit Nearby
Dolly Parton Statue: Located on the front lawn outside the courthouse in downtown Sevierville, the Dolly Parton statue depicts a young Dolly holding a guitar! Since 1987, this statue has been a loving tribute to our hometown superstar and a popular site along a tour of historic sites in the area.
Wings of Wander Mural: This Dolly-themed attraction is a large monarch butterfly mural created by a talented local artist. Everyone knows that Dolly loves butterflies, so the Wings of Wander is a beautiful tribute to her, as well as a showcase of Smoky Mountain artistry.

Red’s Soda Fountain: Over the years, Dolly has talked about her fond childhood memories of Red’s Cafe, a historic diner that opened in 1946. She even has a Red’s Diner restaurant at Dollywood! Now, an old-fashioned soda fountain has returned to Sevierville, inspired by Dolly’s favorite diner! Red’s Soda Fountain offers all of our favorite ice cream treats, as well as delicious lunch options, with the vintage feel of a 50s diner, down to the glass dishes and jukebox in the corner!
Red’s Soda Fountain also features another Dolly-inspired mural in downtown Sevierville! On the side of the brick building, you’ll see a small child sitting at a 50s diner counter, inspired by the very same Red’s Cafe Dolly Parton frequented as a child.
